Right from the first track, ‘’The castle of the white shadow’’, we can hear the dark brooding, menacing male vocals followed by female operatic vocals creating a dark sounding contrast..."

"Mr. Fastfinger has such a quirky and innovative way of playing, and manages to use shred techniques to get a really wide range of interesting and cool sounds from the guitar. He has a very distinct sound that you would instantly recognise as being Mr.Fastfinger, which is something most guitarists strive to achieve yet fail to do..."

Meth Lab Explosion features some classic heavy thrash rhythms with fast paced harmonised lead guitar. The legato playing is fluid and there's some insanely fast passages in here using exotic sounding scales. Thom pulls out all the stops in getting crazy solo sounds out of the guitar, this is definitely one of the most unusual sounding bouts of pure shredding I've heard.

Just… wow. Here is one shred guitar album I’ve been wanting to hear for quite a long time; something full of instrumental tracks that not only do well without vocals but really keep me 100% hooked for the entire duration of the CD. Mad Guitar Records have had an advantage here in being able to choose the best tracks from a whole host of different artists...
