The Difference Between Pinch and Artificial Harmonics

some people think it’s the same thing but actually it isn’t…

…and now I’ll explain the difference….

– Pinch Harmonics

…are made by placing thumb along the margin of the pick, producing a squealing’

type of sound….

– Artificial Harmonics

…are done by fretting a note then put picking hand above the fret, 12 frets
higher up on the neck, this will produce a sound that sounds like a mix between

“pinch” and “natural harmonics”

now I hope that you stop calling these different type of harmonics the same thing!
