Paul Gilbert to open for Europe in LA

RACER X/ex-MR. BIG guitarist Paul Gilbert will be opening for EUROPE on Sunday, April 24 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, California. Gilbert hits the state at 9:15 p.m.
Gilbert is currently working on the final details of his new concert DVD. The disc, entitled “Space Ship Live”, will include a 16-song live performance recorded at Cello Studios in Hollywood and mixed in 5.1 surround sound. In addition there are lots of extra guitar solos, rare acoustic versions, and killer alternate takes (12 extra songs altogether for a total of 28 songs). The DVD features Linus of Hollywood on bass, and Marco Minnemann on drums.
